Picking a night to race

Post by D4ninho on Mon Nov 07, 2016 7:25 pm

We at TVRF always ran our series on a Wednesday night but since the break i have been thinking about changing it so that we can be more of a choice to oversea's racers.

So let me know what night you feel would wrok best for us here.

I'm thinking maybe of a Friday but lets hear your idea's.

Hi Dan,
Since my post in Nov stating Wed was fine for me I have signed up with AOR racing Wed nights 'til May 31st.
I also race Tues's with PRL finishing June 20th and Sun's with DSRL finishing 20th July.
Any other night is fine dependant when you want to start the Clio Cup

Now that sounds good but I can't guarantee making them all as once in a while I get to go out with friends as I now starting to have a life again.. and I sometimes go to rugby match. On those nights I won't be back till half ten..

So if we are having a couple of drop points in the series then for sure Friday night's is good for me as I can still go out.. I've mourned long enough I need to be getting out again Dan sorry

I think it may have to go back to how it used to be, a wednesday at 9pm.

this means its midweek and those that run on a sunday still get time for some practice laps.

Every other site runs a PCars league on a Wednesday. By choosing a Wednesday you are going to limit your numbers. ORL already tried and failed to get numbers for a Weds.

I'm not avail on a Weds.

Thur/Fri/Sat are best days for me - Tues not impossible but a bit more awkward.

are you planning on running the Clio's, V8's & GT3 on same day but alternating weeks?

I set out the series on the site so that people had a choice, some only drive GT while others are bored of everyone doing them, i will run whatever series draws the most interest, im always happy to change to what the drivers want to an extent, i'm really looking for some good clean fun racing and im not fussed by what car its in.
